Reflection

     First time, I thought this subject difficult . I have many problem to learn it such as I don't know the meaning but I try to translate. I often confuse grammar. This course made me to be punctual sometime,  I'm late and I must run fast to class. I'm so sorry teacher for I'm late. I like teaching of teacher because she will give freedom to answer. I like sharing idea with friends because it made me know that friends's answer and different think. Finally, this course made me  understand more for critical reading. I want to learn with Aj. Usa again.

       Today is the last lesson to study the critical reading class . Today I study about Reading News Articles from last week. She asked us to answer the questions about "Facebook to share your info for money" . This is my answers.

Question 1 Even if you block information shared from your site, how could your personal information still be made public?
      I think I will opt out on either Facebook.

Question 2 Do you think Facebook should automatically share your info, and only refrain from doing so if you know about it and go into your setting to opt out? 
      I don't think so. It shouldn't automatically share.


Question 3 This article states " Facebook want to make money by selling user information" Do you think that is their motive for sharing your info? 
      I don't like them because this sharing is annoying.I don't care.

Finally,I think this lesson was very good and easy to understand. I enjoyed this class.

                    Today, I studied about Reading Editorials.I learned about reading editorial .Teacher gave handout  .First, we read and analyzed this handout, We found   opinion and facts in the article from Another enormous Obamacare "Oops" article.  what did people like this insurance. Almost, employers did not like this. I  think  this reason  was difficult, but  it was important to our life. I'm stressed.

           Today I learned about Reading Advertisement.She taught me how to find the theme line in the advertisements So, we practiced to find the theme line and what was about in the advertisement. Finally, she asked to me to the homework for us to find three advertisements that we can understand and work on it. I  liked this lesson because I could share my idea about it . I enjoyed this class.

          Today, I learned about reading movie review and readind advertisement. First, Aj.Usa gave movie review of The First Grader and find the information in this movie such as name of review, positive words and negative words. These are two review that one is positive review and another one is negative review. After that, I learned with reading advertisements, I think the advertisements is interesting so I attended to learned and I can understand this lesson. I enjoyed this class.

         Today I studied about reading book reviews with Aj.Usaa Noytim. She gave us a worksheet about the Teaching Reading Skills in a Foreign Language book review. We read them and found the author's opinions, both positive and negative comments on the book. After that, Aj.Usaa gave us worksheet about the meaning of the fiction and non-fiction and how to read the book review so that we can find the comment of the writer. I really liked the lesson because it helped me learn more about how to read book reviews. It was a fantastic lesson. I enjoyed this class.

         Today,I had a critical reading class with Dr.Usa. I had a midterm test.I think it was a little hard. After that,I learned a new lesson which it was about observe the skills of author's purpose.I got more vocabulary that could be used to describe author's tone from this lesson.I think today was a little hard for me but I tried to do that well.I loved this class.

             Today,I had a critical class with Dr.Usa. I studied about education in Kenya.I discussed and exchanged the idea  to my partner.I got a new idea.Then,I did some exercise.Nothing was not difficult.After that,she told me to join the group which divided into group at the last time.My group discussed and summarized the immigration of Brunei.Finally,we exchanged the idea to another group.I enjoyed this class.

        Today, I learnt with the new title about Learning Experiences and I must be discuss what important things do people learn in school? and what important things do they learn outside of school?. I think that when I went to school, I learnt something there are important for my life and some knowledge. When I live out of school I can learn everything around me and I got some knowledge by myself. Next, I learnt the literacy of the people who live somewhere. Today, the class has a one movie that it's interesting about the old man name Kimani Maruge, he is 84 years old and he lived in Kenya. He would like to study for use his education to read and write. When I saw this movie, I got some ideas about education that  the education is very important for everyone if you wouldn't like to study, you don't get the knowledge and you can not reading and writing. Everywhere and everyone wouldn't like someone who haven't knowledge. I enjoyed this class.

         Today, I had to study  it about The Age of Immigration. She asked to read the paragraphs and find the main idea by six steps each one paragraph and the last activity Aj.Usaa asked us to do homework that we have to organize the group for five person in one group and research to find information about immigration from our country into the united states It was very good lesson but it was very challenging for me. I enjoyed this class.

             Today, she asked us to explain the meaning of a main idea and how it is important. We had to share our ideas together in the class. After that, she gave us the sheet Living in a Multicultural Society. She taught us about the strategies of how to find the main idea in a passage. Next, she asked us to read and practice the passages on the sheets she gave us. 
            I think in this lesson is very difficult for me to understand. . However, I could still understand some of them and now I know how to find the main idea.

         Today,I had learnt about " Facts and Opinions" This lesson is quite not difficult but easy to analysis. Aj, Ussa, asked us about the meaning of the fact and opinions.  Everyone in class, they can made 10 sentences and then do the exercise in worksheets. I don't found any problems in this lesson because I understand it and I think  I can applied  this lesson to use in the diary life.

    Today I learned about story of Sushi.First teacher wrote word SUSHI in board Then she asked us read to the old sheet. After that she told us discuss about Sushi with group 5 people. Last I had quiz  about summarize story of Sushi. I interested about Sushi. I like eating Sushi. I think this lesson was very interesting and When I learned I feel so hungry.  I  enjoyed in this class.

        Today I learned about critical reading. Teacher showed us Mona Lisa picture and asked us what think about the picture.I think Mona Lisa picture was interesting and very beatiful.Then she asked us talk about our thought of Mona Lisa picture and She gave new sheet for us and asked us read it before she explain a new sheet. We had quiz, what is a  critical reading and why critical important to reading. The quiz was quite difficult and surprise for me. I enjoyed this class.

Today, I  had  a critical  reading  class  with  Dr. Usa  Noytim. She  gave  course  syllabus  and  explained  course for us. I worked in group of 5 people shear ideas about what is the critical  reading  and  what  is problem  from  critical reading. Teacher told us about critical thinking. I think this subject is very important but so difficult for me.I think I have a little skills.I will improve them and I will try to learn it. I'm stressed.
